At the very beginning of the year I wrote a statement on my opinions about a career placement test that I took, I said that:
I do not believe in these tests usually, because I plan on starting my own business, or attending WestPoint, which are such uncommon jobs that the tests do not point towards them. The tests do however highlight my fallback plans in engineering, finance, and computer science. I believe that these are great illustrations of areas where I want to study to be prepared to start a business. My entrepreneurial ideals will influence the direction I take my senior project. I will either be organizing a protest/fundraiser, or I will shadow my current boss, who is a successful small business entrepreneur who employs almost 20 people even during our current times. I aspire to be the same type of business owner as him, it inspires me how he uses generosity instead of fear to gain respect and admiration of his employees which creates a much healthier work environment and company loyalty. At this point in my life, almost an entire year later, some of my goals and opinions have changed, I now no longer desire too go to WestPoint, and I don't see the point in studying at an expensive college for a backup plan, but I still want to start a business and study business as a corporate backup. I see myself in a position of owning a business soon, all dependent on where I decide to plant my roots after college, if I decide to stay in Sacramento I will have something started while in college, and if I decide to move elsewhere, I want to have a business started by the end of 2026.
